Adura Onashile : HeLa

Adura Onashile talks to Summerhall TV about her solo piece, HeLa, which tells the story of Henrietta Lacks who walked into the John Hopkins Hospital, with a pain in her abdomen. A cell sample taken without her permission was used as the raw material for some of the most important scientific discoveries of the past 100 years.

HeLa is on in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Summerhall, until the 25th August.
