Rogue-one : Buckhaven Library Mural

Graffiti artist Rogue-one introduces his mural for Buckhaven Library as part of a week long project for Book Week Scotland 2013 to celebrate reading, writing and the importance of public libraries.

As part of Book Week Scotland 2013, artists were commissioned to create five new artworks unveiled on a different library across the country over the course of the week. For inspiration, five of Scotland’s leading authors, Liz Lochhead, Angus Peter Campbell/Aonghas Phàdraig Caimbeul, Alan Bissett, Viv French and James Robertson came together and discussed what they thought was important about reading. Five statements came out of the discussion, which were incorporated into the murals.
